At this year’s festival we were asked to organise the champion beer of the west midlands strong bitters category.

We hosted this on the Thursday evening with a panel of judges blind tasting the six finalists.  The winner was announced at the festival.

As always our infamous tombola was up and running with our auction taking place on Saturday afternoon

Food was available at all sessions in the form of a pig roast and various other options.

Saturday night we had live music starting at approximately 8.30 pm.  This year from ‘The Net’ (Covers band).

A selection of traditional pub games were in the games area for anyone wishing to chance their skills (these were free).

For the drivers - tea, coffee and soft drinks were on sale at the bowls club bar.  Children were allowed up until 8.00pm if accompanied by an adult and remain in the bowls green area of the club.

Our chosen charity this year was ’Help for Heroes’.
